When will we have a child is one of the heaviest questions anyone brings to a chart, and it is the one where a bad answer does the most damage. Plenty of places will tell you yes or no. This report will not, because no chart knows that, and the person asking usually deserves better than a confident guess about their own body.
What a chart can do is timing. This report reads the 5th house — the putra bhava, the house the tradition assigns to children — along with the planet that rules it and the condition that planet is actually in, whatever sits in the house, Jupiter as the natural significator, and the D-7 Saptamsha, the divisional chart built for this subject specifically. Questions
Will it tell me whether I can have children?
No, and please be careful with anything that says it will. A birth chart carries no information about fertility, and a reading that claims otherwise is guessing about something your doctor can actually measure. This report dates the windows your chart supports. That is a different question, and it is one a chart can genuinely answer.
Will it give me a conception date?
No. It gives you dated windows, scored so you can see which are strong and which are thin, plus where Jupiter's transits land on them. A chart times an opening. What happens inside the opening is not the chart's to promise.
I am going through IVF. Is this useful, or is it going to upset me?
It is written for you, carefully. It will not tell you the treatment will or will not work, it will never suggest starting or stopping anything, and it does not read a quiet window as bad news. What it gives you is a calendar and the reasoning behind it — which windows your chart supports and what the quieter stretches are good for. Take it to your doctor, not instead of them.
Do I need my exact birth time?
It helps. The birth time places your ascendant, and the 5th house is counted from it. Without a time the report reads the houses from your Moon instead, which is the standard fallback, and it says clearly which parts rest on that. The dasha windows and the Jupiter transits work either way.
What does the D-7 add?
The tradition does not read children from the main wheel alone. The Saptamsha divides every sign into seven parts and is read as a planet's condition for progeny specifically. Where it agrees with your 5th house the reading is firmer; where it does not, the honest answer is that your chart is mixed on this, which the report says plainly.
What if all my strong windows have passed?
Then the report tells you and still shows you what is ahead, because the fertile span it scans runs well past the point most calculators stop at. Sliding a band forward to wherever you happen to be would make for a nicer read and a useless one.
