When will I get married is the question people bring to an astrologer more than almost any other, and it is the one they usually get the vaguest answer to. A sun-sign column cannot answer it, because it does not know your chart. A free kundli matcher cannot answer it either, because matching needs two people and this question is asked by one.
This report reads your own chart for timing. It starts with structure: the 7th house of marriage, the planet that lords it and the condition that lord is actually in, whatever sits in the house, your marriage karaka, and the Navamsha, which is the divisional chart the tradition built for this subject specifically. Then it times that structure against your Vimshottari dasha, scoring every mahadasha and antardasha pair from your eighteenth year to your forty-fifth on whether the planets running carry your 7th house. Then it lays Jupiter's real transits over the same axis and shows you where a supportive period and a supportive transit overlap, because the overlap is what classical practice treats as the trigger.
The age band comes out of that arithmetic and the report prints the arithmetic. It is the age range of the strongest windows your chart carries, and it has not been rounded to a decade that sounds reassuring. If your strongest window has already passed, the report says so. Questions
How is this different from the Marriage Compatibility Report?
The Compatibility Report reads two charts against each other and answers whether a specific match works. This one reads your chart alone and answers when. Most people asking about timing do not have a partner's birth details yet, which is why the compatibility report was never the right product for the question.
Will it give me a wedding date?
No, and be careful with anything that claims to. It gives you the dated windows your chart actually favours, scored so you can see which are strong and which are thin, plus the age band those windows produce and the reasoning behind it. A chart times an opening. What happens inside the opening is yours.
Do I need my exact birth time?
It helps a lot here. The birth time places your ascendant, and the 7th house is counted from it. Without a time the report reads the houses from your Moon instead, which is the standard fallback, and it says clearly which parts rest on that. The dasha windows and the Jupiter transits work either way.
What if my strongest window has already passed?
Then the report tells you, and shows you what is still ahead. Sliding the band forward to wherever you happen to be now would make for a nicer read and a useless one. A window that has gone is information: it usually means the next one asks for a deliberate decision rather than arriving on its own.
Does it work if I am already married?
It reads the 7th house and the timing around it, so it is built for the unmarried question. If you are married it will still tell you how your partnership axis is wired and which periods put weight on it, but the age band is not aimed at you.
