Terms of Service

AstroMedha is a sole proprietorship in India. It runs the website astromedha.in and the readings, reports and Chart Chat answers offered there. These terms are the agreement between you and AstroMedha whenever you use the site, create an account or buy something from us. By doing any of those things you accept these terms, together with our Privacy Policy and our Refund and No Liability Policy, which form part of them.

If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use AstroMedha.

AstroMedha gives you readings of your birth chart. Our own engines calculate the chart from your date, time and place of birth. They then interpret it using established methods, chiefly Vedic (Jyotish) astrology and numerology. Some readings and every Chart Chat answer are written with the help of artificial intelligence, working from the chart our engines calculated.

Astrology is a traditional system of interpretation. A reading is not a prediction of certain events and not professional advice of any kind. Section 11 of our Refund and No Liability Policy sets out what our readings are and the limits of our liability, and it applies to everything you use here.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy anything. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian can use AstroMedha on your behalf.

• Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• One account is for one person. You may add the charts of family members or other people to your account, but only with their consent or, for a child, as their parent or guardian.
• A reading depends on the birth details you enter. If they are wrong, the reading will be wrong too. Our Refund and No Liability Policy explains how we help when a birth detail was entered incorrectly.
• Tell us at support@astromedha.in straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

• Prices are shown on the site before you pay, in Indian rupees, or in US dollars for some international payments.
• Payments are handled by our payment partners. We don't see or store your full card details.
• If a plan renews automatically, its page says so, and it keeps renewing until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by writing to us. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Wallet balances and gift codes can be spent on AstroMedha products only, and can't be withdrawn as cash.
• What you get with each product is described on its page.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund and No Liability Policy at astromedha.in/refund-policy.

We may change our prices or products. A change never affects something you have already paid for.

When you use AstroMedha, please don't:

• use it for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm another person;
• enter someone else's birth details to profile or pressure them without their consent;
• copy, scrape or resell our readings, or use automated tools to pull content from the site;
• try to break, overload or get around the security of the site, or reach parts of it that aren't meant for you;
• use Chart Chat to produce content unrelated to astrology at volume, or to get around the limits on a plan or pass.

Plans that include Chart Chat come with a fair-use limit. If an account is clearly being used against these terms, we may pause or close it, as section 9 explains.

The birth details, questions and messages you give us remain yours. You allow us to use them to run AstroMedha for you: to calculate your chart, write your readings, answer your questions and improve the service, as our Privacy Policy describes.

The readings we produce for you are yours to keep, print and share for your own personal use. Everything else on AstroMedha, including our engines, the site's design, our articles and the way our readings are written, belongs to AstroMedha. You may not copy it or use it commercially without our written permission.

If you send us a suggestion or an idea, we may use it freely. Sending it doesn't create any obligation on either side, and we don't pay for suggestions we adopt.

We work to keep AstroMedha available and accurate, but we can't promise that it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may add, change or retire features. If we retire a product you have paid for and not yet received, we will either deliver it or refund it.

You can close your account at any time by writing to support@astromedha.in.

We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used for fraud, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to respond. If we close an account through no fault of yours, we will refund what you paid for anything not yet delivered.

Our liability, and its limits, are set out in section 11 of our Refund and No Liability Policy. In short, our total liability for any product is limited to what you paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Your rights under India's Consumer Protection Act, and any other rights the law where you live gives you that can't be signed away, are not affected.

We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top of this page will change when we do. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or on the site before it applies. The terms that apply to a purchase are the ones published on the date you made it.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad have jurisdiction.
