Most readings that claim to answer this question answer a different one. They describe a personality, hand back a flattering adjective, and leave you exactly where you started, because there was never anything in them you could have disagreed with. A description you cannot argue with has told you nothing, however pleasant it was to read.
This reading starts from the opposite end. The first page is six statements about your past, computed from your chart before anyone knew whether they were true: the area of work that has cost you more than it costs the people beside you, the thing that has drained you for the least return, a stretch of the last thirty months that got heavier rather than lighter, and the weeks of the year your work has tended to be noticed. Mark them, count your score, and read the rest against it. If three or fewer of the six are true, we refund the report in full.
What follows is one argument in three parts. Your five life areas put in order against each other, each one measured against the most its own formula could give, with the placements that earn each position named, because the named placements are the content and the order is only the handle. Then the cost: what the same configuration makes expensive, which area will keep asking more of you than it asks other people, and what reliably exhausts you. Then the case for why any of it matters, which is volume rather than talent. Working with your own grain does not make an hour better, it makes more hours possible, and hours are the only input that compounds over a chapter measured in years.
You will not find a job title anywhere in it. There is no occupational data in a birth chart or anywhere else in this engine, so a title printed here would be an opinion with a number stapled to it. Questions
Will it tell me what job to do?
No, and you should be wary of anything that says it can from a birth chart. There is no occupational data in a chart, in our reference population, or anywhere in this engine, so a job title printed in a reading like this is invented. What you get instead is the set of working modes your chart sustains, written concretely enough that you can recognise them in work you have already done.
What does 'put in order against each other' actually mean?
We score how a chart is structurally configured for five areas of life from real engine facts: planetary dignity, house lords and occupancy, classical yogas, and the divisional charts. Each area is then measured against the most its own formula could give, which is what puts five differently-built scores on one scale and makes an order possible. No other chart goes into it, so the reading tells you which of your own areas is best supported, never where you stand among other people. It reads how a chart is BUILT, and it says nothing about outcomes, because we have no outcome data. The reading prints that caveat in full beside the order rather than in a footnote.
What is the refund about?
The first page carries six statements about your past, each computed from a named fact in your chart. If three or fewer of the six are true for you, reply to the email the report arrived in and we refund it in full, with no form and no questions. It exists because a reading with nothing falsifiable in it cannot be wrong, and something that cannot be wrong is not worth paying for.
How is this different from the Career & Timing report?
Career & Timing answers when. It leads with the chapter you are in and spends most of its pages on the dated twelve-month map. This one answers what: it ranks how your chart is configured, names the ways of working it sustains, and prints the area it is configured least strongly for. The twelve-month map is one page near the end here rather than the spine. If you know the direction and want the timing, buy that one. If the direction is the question, buy this one.
What do the twelve follow-up questions get me?
They are answered against the same chart this report was computed from, so you can come back to it as the year moves rather than reading it once. Ask them whenever you want over the twelve months. There is no account to create and nothing recurring.
Do I need my exact birth time?
It helps. The time places your ascendant, which is what puts the houses in the right place and what the career divisional chart is read from. Without one you still get the five-domain ranking, the running chapter, the cost side and the dated windows read from your Moon, and the report tells you on the page which parts are counted that way.
