Meridian: Your Executive Profile
How you lead, decide and hold up under pressure, read from your birth data by four systems that each answer one question. With notes for whoever manages you, the next three years dated, and a check you can run against the years just gone.
What is inside
- Your stance at work, read from BaZi, with a two-word badge for it and how many people share that badge
- Your strengths in a table: what each one does for you and when it runs too long
- What drives you, and what pressure does to the way you work
- How you talk and how you decide, so a colleague can work with you without guessing
- A page of notes for whoever manages you, written to be passed on
- Where two systems disagree about you, printed as a named tension with both readings
- The next three years dated from Vedic timing, with the pace of each calendar year from numerology
- The same timing run backwards over the last three years, so you can mark it right or wrong first
- Every claim in an appendix, with the system it came from and how common it is
Most leadership assessments are questionnaires, so they can only tell you what you told them. Meridian reads your birth date, time and place instead, which you cannot shade towards the answer you think a manager wants.
It uses four systems and gives each one a single job, so they are never blended into one score. BaZi, the Chinese four pillars, reads how you operate. Vedic astrology reads outcomes and dates them. The Lo Shu grid, a square of the digits in your birth date, reads which skills come easily and which take effort. Numerology sets the pace of each calendar year. Where two of them disagree about you, the report prints both readings and names the tension, rather than averaging it away.
Every marker in it carries a number: how many people in a measured sample share it. That number tells you a line is specific to you rather than true of most people. It does not prove the line is right. The test of whether it is right is the page that runs the timing backwards over your last three years, which you can mark from memory before you trust the dates ahead.
How it works
- 1Enter your birth details. A birth time adds the part of BaZi read from your birth hour, the Vedic dates, and the line on where your work gets made. Without one the report reads from the date alone and says what it left out.
- 2We compute the four systems, check how far a clock error could move each answer, and measure how common every marker is.
- 3You receive the report by email: your stance, strengths and pressure first, the manager notes in the middle, the timing after, and every workings line in the appendix.
Questions
Can my company use this to hire or promote people?
No, and it is not built for that. Every line in it comes from a birth date, and a birth date also fixes an age, so using it to choose between people would be choosing partly on age. It is written for you to read, and for you to pass on the manager page if you want to.
How is it different from CliftonStrengths or Hogan?
Those are questionnaires, so what they find is bounded by how you see yourself. This one reads birth data, so there is nothing to answer well. It also dates things, which a questionnaire cannot. What it does not have is a validity study, and it does not pretend to.
What does "about 1 person in 69" mean?
It is how often that marker turned up in a measured sample of birth dates and times. It tells you how specific a line is. It is a number about the marker, never a ranking of you against other people.
Do I need my exact birth time?
It helps. Without one, three things are left out: the part of BaZi read from your birth hour, the line on where your work gets made, and the Vedic dates. The report says so before it gives any result. With one, the page before any result tells you how many minutes of clock error each answer can take before it changes.
Why does it ask for sex?
Only for one thing: BaZi's ten-year stretches run forwards or backwards depending on it. Leave it blank and those rows are left out, with a line on the page saying why. Nothing else in the report reads it.
