Tuesday, 8 September 2026: Pushya lands, but Parigha yoga asks you to go around, not through
Pushya, the friendliest nakshatra for beginnings, arrives on an otherwise Parigha-yoga day, so start early and don't force what resists.
Pushya nakshatra arrives Tuesday and favours new undertakings until 16:40, while Parigha yoga cautions against forcing obstacles. When to begin, and what to check on your own chart.

The one thing that changed overnight carries the day: the Moon moved out of Punarvasu and into Pushya, the nakshatra most Vedic reckoning treats as the friendliest for starting things. Its deity is Brihaspati and its lord is Saturn, a steadying pair. If you have been sitting on something, this is the window to begin it.
But Pushya holds only until 16:40, and after that the good opening is gone for the day. So do the first real step in the morning, not the evening.
The complication is the yoga. Today runs on Parigha, an inauspicious yoga whose whole meaning is obstruction, the wall you keep hitting. Paired with Pushya it reads clearly: the day favours what you begin cleanly, and resists what you try to force. If a door is stuck, go around it rather than shouldering it. Push and it pushes back.
The Moon also entered Cancer, the sign it rules, so it sits in its own home today. Emotionally that tends to feel steadier, more settled, easier to trust your read on people.
It is Mangalvar, Mars's day, which sharpens drive and can shorten temper. On a Parigha day, that is the exact edge to watch: spend the drive on your own work, not on winning an argument.
The tithi is Krishna Dwadashi, holding until 14:44, a neutral day better for finishing than launching.
Rahu Kaal, Gulika and the choghadiya are cut from your local sunrise, so they genuinely shift city to city. Check yours on the panchang tool before fixing a time.
What any of this means for you depends on where these signs fall in your own chart. Tell us your birth date and AstroMedha computes your chart free, no account, then Chart Chat opens with two questions on the house.
